I appreciate your optimistic approach and wise reflection on experiencing the lowest point(s) in life! This reminds me of a bible verse, Romans 8:18: “Our current sufferings aren’t worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in us.” Great job, Markel! 👍🏼

I believe fate is choice, and your fate is whatever you choose with the cards you are delt. Destiny in a sense is really just a reflection from end to beginning. When you look back on choices you've made, of course you see how you were fated to be where you are.

I think the idea to 'defy fate', is really an indication to make choices other than those immediately present. To choose the hard obscure thing, instead of the easy obvious thing.

To take the path less traveled, to get to Eden.
