Hey All,
I wanted to send a short quip saying thank you so much for the support and love on yesterday's post.
On Sundays I’m considering sharing a review of my previous week, things I’m working on, and things that have inspired me recently.
Week in Review:
This week marks almost a month since I’ve been ardently working on building a writing business. I know it may not look like much now but I promise the volume will be ramped up!
I also took a week off of my gzcl powerlifting program, to spend extra time with my loved ones. Those who know me personally also know that I work in the luxury automotive space, well a big transition has happened, and I’ve been forced to be more introspective about what I want to do in the next season of my life.
A big shout out to my close friends Aaliyah & Michael who will be tying the knot very soon! They’ve asked me to Officiate their wedding so I am now looking to 1) get certified, 2) find out what I’m going to say, 3) What kind of tuxedo to get.
All that being said this past week was one where I prepared myself for a seasonal shift, both literally and spiritually.
Things I’m Working On:
Aside from working on writing schedules, content ideas, and how I’m going to market my written content. I’ve also started laying the groundwork for a prototype coaching program that I am planning to soft launch in the 3 days. Yes…72hrs, but through this I can see how I can best offer my services and calibrate them to be powerful and effective.
On the fitness front, I have considered picking up a dedicated mobility practice to supplement my strength training. Just trying to stay flexy and sexy. Inspired by Amir Zandinejad on Instagram
Recent Inspirations:
Podcast: The Medicin - Understanding Archetypes. One of my favorite niche podcasts that does a great job of finding the intersection between health, spirituality, alternative psychology, and realism. This episode covers archetypal models that composite the collective consciousness and how our awareness of them can improve our lives.
Books: Fire In The Belly - Sam Keen. I began to reread the book that started it all for me. It’s a deep dive into the state of masculinity in the Western world post-feminism. How Males have become lost in identity and purpose, and proposes ideas about how reclaiming transformational experiences and rites of passage can lead to healthier better-integrated men.
Thank you all so much for the continued support, as this newsletter grows and expands I hope that you all grow and expand with it!
